Speakers for 2010
This year we would like to welcome Jono Turner as our 2010-11 Keswick Summer Camp speaker...

Jono and Mary Turner
Jono is a graduate of Faith Bible College, Tauranga, New Zealand and has been in full-time ministry since 1983 when he, along with his wife Mary completed a Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission in Kona, Hawaii. After serving on staff with YWAM, they returned to their local programme to equip lay people for service.
This Church base school operated annually from 1984 through 1990, sending teams to Tonga, Japan, Philippines and Fiji. The goal was to mobilize local church members into short-term missions; training them in the basic disciplines of active Christian service and ministry. Many were descipled and released into longer-term service as a result of this ministry.
Jono's passion is to train and release ministers, in every walk of life, who can authentically represent Jesus in the world. Now serving as a senior minister in his home church of 30 years, Gateways Christian Fellowship, in Palmerston North. He regularly ministers abroad as a sought-after speaker for YWAM, local churches, conferences and camps.

...And also welcoming Michael Duncan!!
Michael and Ruby Duncan
Michael Duncan as a young New Zealander caught a vision for the needs of the world. In his early twenties he was converted out of the drug culture and eastern mysticisim. After two years of Bible College training in Australia he pastured a growing church in Dunedin before responding to the needs of the third world.
In 1985 he and his wife, Ruby, with their two children relocated to the Phillipines and moved into the very heart of a third world squatter community. For many years they lived and worked among the poor.
In 1994 the Duncan's returned to New Zealand and since then Michael has continued to be involved in urban work both in Australia (Melbourne) and New Zealand (Auckland).
Currently Michael is engaged in a number of ministries that he has started including; Alongsiders, Intermission, Red Letters...to name a few. He is also a "Portfolio Worker" where he works with mission entities, mentors and teaches, speaks and writes. His passion is to call people and groups to be all that which they were created to be and do.
