Keswick camp sleeps from 256 people - 164 on beds and 92 on top bunks in a total of 42 rooms, cabins and units. In most rooms beds are constructed so that two beds can be placed together to make a large double bed.
The Camp also has single and double mattresses for a further 42 people, which can be used in the lofts of the family units, or on the floor of the meeting room. Mattresses are provided for all beds. You will need to bring pillows and bedding. Rotorua can be surprisingly cold at night.
Additional accommodation can also be arranged with two camping grounds adjacent to the Keswick camp.
Campsites
32 Caravan sites with power, water and sewerage. Guest use the camp amenities. Some non-powered sites are available.
Cabins
Cabins sleep 6 - 8 people on a mixture of beds and bunks. |
Log Cabins
Sited next to the Villa, each log cabin sleeps 9 people with a mixture of beds and bunks.
The Villa
Each of the 7 bedrooms sleeps 3 people with two beds and a top bunk. Rooms 35, 36 and 37 contain wash basins. The Villa has 3 showers, 2 toilets and is close to the ablution block | |
The Lodge
This is a large historic building with eleven bedrooms, a dining/meeting hall, a lounge with tea and coffee facilities, and ladies and gents ablutions. Sleeps 60 people.
Units
There are 8 units, each sleeping 4 to 8 people. All units contain a loft with spare matresses and sleping space for an additional 3-4 people. All units have undercover access to ablution blocks an are close to the laundry facilities.
Units 12-14 have an en-suite and tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave. These are available as an upgrade to standard camp fees. |
